2020 RODEO SEASON UPDATE

NWYRA Families,
We have two (2) rodeo weekends scheduled in CANYONVILLE!
#1 Canyonville – Double Header
August 7-9, 2020
#2 Canyonville – Double Header
August 21-23, 2020
No Membership or Awards Fees this year.
Contestant(s) will need to complete the sign-up process through the NWYRA website. No fees will be charged, we need to you to acknowledge and sign waivers, and sign up to volunteer. All contestants who previously (before today) signed up for the 2020 rodeo season, your membership and award fee(s) will be refunded by the NWYRA Treasurer, you will need to complete the process AGAIN.
Contestant sign-up deadline is July 1, 2020. After your sign-up is complete, you will be emailed your membership number needed to enter each rodeo.
NWYRA will have safety measures in place by having extra hand washing stations available during rodeos. We ask that you stay with your family or friends that you have been self-quarantining with during the COVID epidemic, and practice safe social distancing.
Attending is voluntary.
The sport of rodeo is a very low risk sport for being exposed to COVID -19.
-Rodeo is mostly an individual sport;
-Rodeo is held outdoors in open air facilities;
-Rodeo does not function with a lot of physical contestant on contestant contact;
-Rodeo typically does not share sporting equipment;
-Contestants are typically on horse back and without realizing it, practice social distancing.
